Welcome to the Kindred Spirits Rift Chapter! Below you will find some basic information about KS in Rift.

We intend to explore and experience everything Rift has to offer. Everyone is encouraged to play at your own pace, and enjoy the game your way.

Group with your fellow guild mates and help those in need when you can. We all have goals we would like to achieve, help each other conquer them!

General

• Have fun! This guild is here to support you having fun and accomplishing your goals!
  
• Participate! Vote on applications, attend guild events, chat with fellow members (in game and here). The more you engage yourself in the guild, the better the community is as a whole. It can even improve your gaming experience. You are by no means 'required' to, but the more people that participate, the better the guild is for everyone.
  
• Remember to keep your ToS updated.
• Characters not logged in for 60+ days will be removed from the in game roster. If this happens to you, simply follow the invite instructions to get them reinstated.
  

Groups/Looting

Need before greed. Ensure you roll need only on items you can use (upgrades/crafting items). Greed can be applied to most everything else.
The built in roller works very well, just make sure you click the appropriate roll.

• Make sure you look over the item in question and ensure it suits your class and spec before rolling (pay attention to all its stats).
• Don't loot during the battle; looting can wait until the fight is over.
• Be generous! If you get something another can use, give it to them.
• Think of the guild bank! Get a lot of trade materials or some blues no one in the group can use? Contribute some to the guild bank.
• Don't forget to make your group private!
  

Treasury/Bank

The Guild will maintain storage for donated items. An officer (Treasurer) will take any donations and store them on a banking toon. Items donated will be listed in the Rift Treasury board. Members will need to request items stored.

• You may donate items for others to use by mailing/trading them to the Treasurer.
• The Treasurer will maintain a post listing items available.
• Anyone may request an item stored by following the instructions to request items on the Rift Treasury board.
• Please only donate Gear of "blue" quality and up. Donations of rarer trade materials and artifacts is also encouraged.
• Alternatively you may store items yourself, and post up the items you have available on the Treasury/Trade board. You would then need to fulfill the request for items yourself.
  

*Once/if a guild bank is implemented, the treasury will change significantly.

Raids/PvP/Events

Raids and other events will be announced in one of two ways. Larger raids and events that need a certain number of participants and class balance will use PhpRaider (our event planner). Other events that don't need so much coordination or planning will use the events board and forum calendar.

Most officially scheduled events such as Raids and PvP runs will be posted on PhpRaider. Sign up is required for these. Other events such as a guild screen shot or other activity will be scheduled using the forum calendar linked to the events board.

Anyone may post an event to the events board. Only have a couple hours a certain night and want to hit an instance? Post that instance you want to do that night ahead of time to the events board, and you may have a group waiting for you when you log in.

Please remember, we are not a raiding/PvP guild. We will however, do our best to experience and participate in all the aspects Rift has to offer.

Some points to remember:

• Listen to the Raid Leader!
• Bring a good attitude and patience.
• Come to an event prepared.
• Main/current spec gets priority on loot.
• Sign ups are required for larger coordinated events.
• Anyone may post an event, such as an instance run, to the event board (can be linked with the calendar). Please don't conflict with official events.
