blargh, sinuses are kicking my arse today...
They promise a digital-used sales system, but no details on that. Likely so they can take a cut out of the used game market, which makes sense from a business standpoint, but is not friendly to consumers.
The way it works is that since the game is tied to your account (which requires an internet check-in every 24 hours), you can't give/sell someone your old game and have them play it on their system. If they try, they'll be asked to pay full price, basically make them buy the game on their account.
So MS is going to charge a fee to play older games on the new XBox? I'm raising the BS flag on that! I always thought consoles not being backwards compatable as a big turnoff.
That explains why EA killed the online pass thing... haha.
So the new xbox can play used games, you just have to pay an "unspecified fee" to run them. So now it's buy a used copy from someone, then pay MS to let you run it.

It's because your monitor can't see your payment information. Try typing out your CC#, CVV#, and expiration into the shoutbox here, then the monitor can see the info and process the transaction.
Watched the trailer for Batman Arkham Origins... my monitor wont take my money

Minecraft + Rift =
 Tried it out for a little bit, structures and landscape I spent hours with on a 2d screen, now seen as if I was actually there...the sense of scale is surreal. Of everything I've tried to date, Minecraft may just be the "killer app" to really sell the Rift - and
ahhh i wish coffee still had that effect on me.. most it does now is wake me up a lil bit. If i drink too much i just feel ill, and have anxiety issues.

KS maintains a guild for both factions of SW:TOR. Located on the same server, they are able to directly compete/complement each other. This page represents both factions. They follow the same guidelines, structure, and rules as listed on this page.Everyone is encouraged to explore the game at their own pace and work with your fellow members to achieve individual goals. Guild runs will also be scheduled 1-3 times a week. These can include raids, PvP, instance groups, or maybe some whacked idea we had that sounded fun....
The guild intends to explore all the game has to offer. This can best be achieved by teamwork, and everyone in the guild participating when they can.
Recruits (new applicants) are asked to choose one faction or the other to apply to and play in initially, but may play either side as they see fit once made member. Ensure you note Republic or Empire in your application.

Groups may create their own loot priorities as well, so long as all agree upon them before the run. Some tips:
Guild Treasury
The guild will maintain bank for member use. Details once game is released.
Remember, we have a Free Trade Agreement. You cannot require a trade or money reimbursement for items or services rendered. If they wish to compensate you for it, they can.
Raiding
We are not a raiding guild; we do enjoy a good raid however.
Raids will generally be run by a raid leader or other individual. We typically use PHPRaider for Event Scheduling and Sign-ups. Loot rules follow our group loot policy and an honor system. Loot distribution is at the Raid Leaders discretion. More info once raiding begins. |
