Welcome to the Kindred Spirits World of Warcraft Chapter. This chapter was formed in June (2006) on the new server of Gnomeregan. We strive to experience the game to its fullest (as all games), PvP, Heroics, Raiding, Altitis, etc. We like to take our time and are in no rush to get there. Many play multiple characters and try to get everything they can from a game.
Members are encouraged to explore the game at their own pace and work with other members to achieve goals. We will have several days a week when we will schedule events, whether it's an instance, raid, PvP run, or some whacky race across Azeroth. Guild Events are never required to attend. We do encourage everyone to attend that can. The more we have showing up for these events, the more successful and fun they can be.
As a guild it is our intention to experience everything we can, and enjoy WoW for what it is, a game. To that end, we understand when real life comes first, and expect you to enjoy your time in game and have an environment that promotes just that. We have never had, and will never have any requirements to participate in any guild activity that you choose. So long as you can take directions and follow what few rules we do have when it comes to organized events such as raids. Happy adventuring, and may we all have an enjoyable gaming experience. Class books, any recipes, and rarer trade materials are highly sought by the bank. Please do not sell or trade these items outside the guild.
Remember, we have a Free Trade Agreement. You are expected to freely give something if another can use it. You cannot require a trade or money reimbursement. If they wish to compensate you for it, they can.
We understand you also need to make money for your own goals. Meeting the requirements for donating books, recipes, and other useful items should not impact you. This is why we say donate what you can, don’t gimp yourself. However, those mentioned items you should be able to give up without it hurting you, yet is very beneficial to the guild. Please just be generous. It benefits everyone if everyone is.
Raiding
We are not a raiding guild; we do enjoy a good raid however.
We currently raid 10-man content, and may venture into Heroic mode if we have enough people power. We are in no hurry to do it! If you are all about raiding, this probably isn’t the guild for you. We only raid 2-3 times per week, and don’t take it to seriously.
Along with the Raid Instances, we will also have some PvP raids on some nights as well.
Raid Looting
We simply use people’s generosity and the built in dice roll. No fancy point systems.
Please ensure you understand the following rules when rolling.
The following applies to BoP items.
What to roll is based on how the item is to be used by you. If the item is for your main toon and primary spec, you roll need for an upgrade item.
If it’s an upgrade for your Alt or your mains secondary spec, roll greed.
To specify your main, alts, and spec, you must use phpraider. We use phpraider to organize raids and display your mains/alts/specs. Please only designate one toon as your main, all others should be alts.
Also please ensure you have a spec entered for your main. Preferably in the format specname 0/0/0 (example: enhance 21/0/50). If you have any issues using phpraider, please contact Omniverse.
