Some good stuff coming out. The new spiderman movie definitely feels a bit closer to the comics than the others, although I thought the 1st one was pretty well done too.

I can't believe I some how completely missed that Bubba-Hotep movie when it came out in 2002. I did manage to snag a copy tho and unfortunately for me it wasn't as good as the trailer. It had it's moments, but overall I was disapointed. Loved the old elvis vs mummy concept tho, heh.

I'm not sure what to make of those movies. The black rainbow one seems like a documentary on psychotherapy with acid with a heaping of creep(y/er)

And when you asked, "why hasn't someone done this already?" I wasn't sure if you meant the premise of the film (Falling Down, 1993) or in real life, just went apeshitcrazy on the degenerates of the Americas. If it was the apeshitcrazy part - well I don't expect it too much further off. But, then again maybe it did happen recently like that kid shooting others in the school and now is completely missing any sort of coverage because the media doesn't care how it wraps up anymore... I digress

Oh my, that's really looking good Goib. It's nice to feel excitement for a sci-fi flick again.

I'm curious, anyone else not like the second trailer?
I mean, it was awesome and exciting and all that but I felt it told you too much... at least compared to the international one, that left some good mystery to it and let you figure things out.

aparently US people have to be spoon fed. It is interesting to see the desparity in the two trailers. The UK one is by far the coolest one yet. If you google weyland viral videos there is at least one other with the reveal on who the android is, if you couldn't figure that out.

Looks like a fun movie. The commercials plug it as Die Hard meets Blade Runner but I think it is going to be more like Die Hard in space minus the Blade Runner hehe.

I stumbled apon this on youtube today and found it pretty amusing.. it's 7 parts, I think(I guess they did one of these in 2010 as well which they refer to in this one): Edit: Did some more research and they did some podcasts as well before these PAX events, going back to 2008.
